Summary

Adjust whether your employees can view an estimate of their upcoming paycheck.

Solution

Paycheck Estimate is a feature provided to employees who are paid through Gusto that allows them to view an estimate of their upcoming pay. It may become available up to 4 business days before the check date and will disappear on the check date of the payroll when the official paystub is available.

This feature is exclusive to the Gusto mobile app. Employees will not be able to access this feature through www.gusto.com.

Company admins can turn the feature on or off for their employees following the steps below.

  1. Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
  2. Click Pay.
  3. At the top of the page, click Settings.
  4. Next to "Paycheck Estimate," click edit.
  5. Click on the toggle to turn the feature on or off.
  6. Select Save.

Note that the amount displayed to employees is solely an estimate of pay based on payroll data. Canceling or reversing payroll may impact what is displayed to employees. Employees are notified that the estimate may not be accurate and is subject to change based on various factors.
