You can see your current and old paystubs in your Gusto employee profile at anytime.

Important things to know

  • When you get paid: Your pay date depends on when your employer runs payroll and the company's direct deposit speed. If you do not see a paystub or have payment questions, ask your employer.
  • Direct deposit timing: Money can show up in your bank account anytime during the business day (until 5pm local time). This depends on how fast your bank processes the funds.
  • Payment method: Even if you have direct deposit set up, your employer can choose to pay you by check instead.
  • Bank account numbers: The last four digits of any bank account paid appear at the top of the paystub.

If you want to change how you get paid or add multiples accounts: Check this article.

Paycheck Estimate

Note: This feature is only available to some users.

Paycheck Estimate is a feature provided to employees who are paid through Gusto that allows them to view an estimate of their upcoming pay. It may become available up to 4 business days before the check date and will disappear on the check date of the payroll when the official paystub is available.

This feature is exclusive to the Gusto mobile app. Employees will not be able to access this feature through www.gusto.com

Access your paycheck estimate

  1. Sign in to the Gusto mobile app.
  2. Click the Upcoming Paychecks Payment Tracker. This will show the status of an upcoming payroll.
  3. Select Show paycheck estimate
    • If this is not an option, it could be that:
      • The payroll is reversed or canceled.
      • Today is the check date of the payroll—refer to the official paystub.
      • The payroll settings have been updated.

Discrepancies in the estimate

The amount displayed is an estimate of pay. The estimate may not be accurate and is subject to change based on various factors. If you think the estimate is wrong, wait for the official paystub on the check date.

If the official paystub seems incorrect, contact your employer for more info.
